Yellow Bellied Sapsucker - photo (c) Daniel Yoffeee |
The Puffin Photography Club uses the 42 acres of the Teaneck Creek as its workshop and playground. For the past year and a half I can be found there many weekend mornings. We help to chronicle life at the creek which up until ten years ago was a dumping ground for the garbage left over from the creation of Route 80 and 95.
Yesterday we were fortunate enough to spot a Yellow Bellied Sapsucker. Who knew? For all these years some of us thought that was a creature that Ed Norton created.
Watch this space for information on our upcoming group shows at the Puffin and at the Creek.
